
Carmen Diaz Verdugo, Ph.D.
Senior Computational Scientist

Carmen Diaz Verdugo is a senior computational scientist in the Cardiovascular Disease Initiative and Precision Cardiology Lab of the Ó³»´«Ã½ of MIT and Harvard. She joined in 2021, and focuses on computational methods for analysing high content imaging assays and interpreting the results.
Prior to joining the Ó³»´«Ã½, she did her postdoctoral training at Novartis Institute for Biomedical Research in the data science department.
Diaz Verdugo holds a double Ph.D. in systems neuroscience from Norwegian University of Science and Technology and Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium, and a B.S./M.S. in electrical engineering from Universidad Politecnica de Valencia in Spain.
