Jason Rush

Jason Rush is a group leader working in the Center for the Development of Therapeutics (CDoT) at the Ó³»­´«Ã½ of MIT and Harvard. He is part of the translational pharmacology department and is involved in therapeutics projects involving immuno-oncology, inflammatory bowel disease, and targeted protein degradation.

Rush joined the Ó³»­´«Ã½ in July 2014 after completing postdoctoral research in the labs of Andrew Phillips and Jo Handelsman exploring how small molecules influence microbial secondary metabolism. He holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of California at Berkeley, where he worked with Carolyn Bertozzi to exploit a unique post-translational modification for protein engineering purposes. He also holds a B.S. in chemistry from the University of Michigan.
