Kwanho Kim, M.S.
Associate Computational Biologist

Kwanho Kim is an associate computational biologist working in the Stanley Center for Psychiatric Research at the Ó³»´«Ã½ of MIT and Harvard, where he focuses on combining computational methods to analyze large genomics data. He implements algorithms and analytical pipelines that meet the characteristics of each project to expand our knowledge in biology. As a member of the Stanley Center community, Kim concentrates on the analysis of the brain, including identifying cell type-specific gene signatures at different developmental time points and studying their relevance to psychiatric diseases.
Kim joined the Ó³»´«Ã½ in June 2019 after earning his M.S. in computational biology from Carnegie Mellon University. He also holds a B.S. in agricultural and biological engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
