Mark Chaffin is a senior computational scientist in the Cardiovascular Disease Initiative at the Ó³»´«Ã½ of MIT and Harvard. As a member of the Precision Cardiology Lab, he applies various computational methods to dissect cellular diversity in cardiac tissue and study how this relates to disease. Prior to joining the Ó³»´«Ã½ in 2016, Chaffin studied computational biology and quantitative genetics at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, specifically exploring the genetic regulation of gene expression.
