In the second 2013 installment of Midsummer Night’s Science, our annual public lecture series, medical oncologist and ӳ����ý associate member Levi Garraway will explore how genomic technology is helping to reveal cancer’s long-held secrets, and the many ways those findings, both the expected and unexpected, are changing the lives of patients.

In particular, Garraway will detail his recent pioneering work on the genes involved in melanoma — the deadliest form of skin cancer.

In this sneak peak video of Garraway’s upcoming lecture, hear him describe how genomic technology is helping “move the needle” in cancer care.
