Are you a first-year graduate student about to do a rotation with a faculty member whose lab is at the Ó³»´«Ã½? You’ll need a Rotating Graduate Student appointment with the Ó³»´«Ã½, and here is what you need to know!
Eligibility
You must be a first-year graduate student in a program at MIT, Harvard or Harvard Medical School.
The lab you are rotating in must be physically based at the Ó³»´«Ã½.
What you need to do
Once the faculty member has agreed to your rotation in their lab, you will receive an email from the lab with a link to an online form. Please complete the form as quickly as possible to expedite the onboarding process.
Within 48-72 hours of completing the form, you will receive another email with all the information you will need to set up your Ó³»´«Ã½ email, sign into Workday (our HR system), and complete your environmental health & safety (EHS) and lab safety training. Please read the entire email as it has instructions on how to get your Ó³»´«Ã½ ID!
Onboarding
You are required to complete Ó³»´«Ã½ EHS and lab safety training prior to receiving your Ó³»´«Ã½ badge or starting your rotation.
