Building open and scalable data-science tools to advance biomedical research
Advanced genome sequencing technology lets researchers produce massive amounts of high-quality data at low cost. But that is only the beginning. To help generate new insights on disease, researchers at the Ó³»´«Ã½ have also developed advanced methods to process, analyze, and widely share that data. Engineers and data scientists at the Ó³»´«Ã½ are creating the infrastructure to store, share, and analyze genomic and clinical data at . They are also building applications that extract all available information from raw data; portals and other user interfaces that engage researchers, clinicians, and patients; and tools to process large volumes of raw genome sequencing data into useful forms.
